I use Aloksaks for backpacking when I dont want to get anything wet. These things are great, if you don't need the impact protection, you get the water-proof protection of a Pelican Case, in a much more compact and lightweight design. I also use the OP Saks (odor proof) to keep the bears and other nosey critters at bay. Y'all may already be aware of them but I'd thought I'd share with some pics for random uses since these are pretty relevant to this forum.
Just think of them as a zip-lock bag on steroids:
Per Watchful Eye Designs (distributor): "SSI (formerly NASDS) certified waterproof to depths exceeding 60 meters. Confirmed testing in their pressure chamber under constant pressure of 200 SFW for two weeks without leaks. Copy of Letter
US NAVY Passed submergence/thrash/pull tests conducted by Navy Experimental Diving Unit. Copy of Letter
North American Fishing Club Approved after being diversely tested by a selection of 35 individuals under a variety of circumstances."

My compact first aid kit...complete with 2 fire sources and a Spyderco Ladybug.
First aid kit packed up and ready to go.

New Nikon glass...nice and dry.
Ruger 22-45 in the really big bag...

Gotta keep the phone dry...especially a sat phone if your in the middle of the Arizona mountains (http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=469169).

Just to give you an idea of the big bag size...my Super Redhawk .44 in the big bag.
