Good evening. I was perusing a pawn shop here in town today and came across a bundle of tools and gauges in a plastic tray, all made by Veritas. I didn't inspect them as I was just wasting time before an appointment, and they were wrapped in the tray in plastic, but looking online I see several tools and stones that I believe were there, including a roller mechanism that looked like it would be great for chisels and like tools. So my question to you all is do you know of a system designed for knives by Veritas, or is this just for woodworkers?

thanks for any advice or comments. Mark in Michigan

I am not familiar with their products, but on their website, they showed a small flat circular grinder that could be used to grind knives I suppose. Maybe not a large knife, but possibly a small blade. It seems their main focus is on woodworking tools though.

+1 on your signature!

I use tons of the Veritas stuff and i love it to bit's!!!
yes there are a number of systems designed for knife sharpening by Veritas.
Just look on the Lee Valley website for them

Thank you gentlemen, much appreciated. I think ill take a closer look. Ill post my findings. Thanks again!

Veritas makes some quality woodworking stuff. Their stuff tends to be bulky, but it's nice. Check out their site to see what they have for knives.
I haven't noticed anything specifically for the knife zealot, but if they make something for us it's sure to be quality.
