They are distinguished in generations, I had an early generation although they weren't bino. Most I have used a monocular.
Not sure what you want to know. I found that inexpensive night vision gear is not worth it. Buy the good gear and read the reviews first.
Also you never get an image like night turned into day or anything like that.
