Hey guys,
Haven't posted in a while but have a question for any of you with some insight. I just got a hold of a few round bars of N200 electronics grade pure nickel in 5/16, 1/2 and 3/4 inch. I also got a 1/4 inch bar of alloy 52, which is 52.5% nickel alloy. Has anyone ever used these for pins or guards or other embellishments? I know it has good mechanical, heat transfer and electrical applications, but does not harden well enogh for blade stock. Just wondering if there are any other good uses in the making of a knife for these?
Thanks
Pete
