Anyone use the Edge Pro polishing tape blanks for use with silicon carbide sandpaper?

I was just wondering if anyone has tried this with success for use with some of the high wear resistant steels that are out there now. It seems like it should work and would make for faster reprofiling sometimes and would be cheaper than the 2x6 dmt stones that will fit in the edge pro.

seems like it would work , but how would you mount the sandpaper to the blanks and keep it on, and remove it when your done, or it wears out?

I was thinking 3m spray adhesive then a little acetone to take it off and clean the blank.

I've done it a few times with lower carbide steels. It works well for them but on anything like M390,M4,S90v etc it just takes too long and wears out quickly. Just my experience though.

Get diamond tapes if you want speed. They cut like crazy and last a damn long time if taken care of.

Diamond tapes okay. Where does a fellow get those don't think ive seen them anywhere?
