Anyone use the Sharpmaker on Bokers ceramic blades ?

I am trying to get a decent finish on a couple of ceramic blades from Boker. They were badly damaged, tips broken, severe chipping, etc. . I ground the edge even on a 220 SiC waterstone no problem. However getting a decent cutting finish has not gone well. The best I have been able to achive is only about 1/3 that of a decent steel blade. I was wondering if the ceramics in the Sharpmaker can cut the ceramic in the Boker blade?
