Recently I have enjoyed some of the older designs like the Nessmuk and Hudson Bay designs. I love infi and find the Mini muk a useful camp/skinning knife. Just wish it was .125 or .145, but close enough. Anyway I some how missed the Bunker Buster offering and there are not many for sale. While I'm waiting for one to become available I was wondering if the owners of this cool blade could speak of its performance or other Hudson bay style knives.

I recently used mine in the NC mountains. It was a beast a batoned like a champion. I wish I took pics. Good luck on your search it’s my favorite Busse to date.

I've been using mine Bunker Buster. It's an AWESOME blade. Many Busse blade have passed through my hands, but bunker buster is by far my favorite model.
It has a (at least in LE version) suprisingly thin edge, so with high flat sabre grind it not only chops well but it's a real slicer. Great camping blade. And I really love the way it looks.

Beautiful knives guys, thanks for sharing. Can't wait till one pops up on the exchange. I have recently been ordering the Green and black G-10 and green canvas handles and think they look great on satin blades. Hope it looks as good on the DC Park Rangers!

My Bunker buster infi has green canvas on it in above pic :-) :-) green and black g10 is a go to for sure :-)

Have only used the Bunker buster to mold sheaths but I really like how it feels and handles. I have used the Chophouse and Trash 2 a lot and love how they feel and work. The chophouse has a very similar blade shape to the Bunker Buster and it has a Res-C handle. The bunker buster is a real winner.

If Busse Combat was to put up on website a medium chopper, I’d hope it was this. CG bunker buster with comp finish option :-)
When I first unwrapped mine, I thought well this is well , not for me. Glad I held onto it cause through holding onto it. I have really grown to appreciate it , nice balance , really good edge. I think I’d part with my NMSFNO before the BB lol

I have done some light chopping - the extra weight with the nessmuk style swail allows it to hit pretty darn hard, and it is .22 (I freaking love mine)...

Wouldn't it be just awesome to have an LE Bunker Buster as a full time offering on the site?
That or a Satin ASH2.
I just really so wish there would be a full time offering of a Satin INFI blade on the site.

Interesting you say that. Although Busse's Nessumk design, the Muk looks a lot like it, I was thinking the Bunker Buster looks more like a Hudson Bay style knife.

Well, I'm not an expert in these blade shapes, it is one of the best newer models that checks 100% of the boxes for me! Its a Damn Near perfect knife In My Book!!
