Anyone use waved knives for everyday?

Hi, all,

Just curious. Does anyone here use any of the waved Emersons for everyday carry? If so, which ones?

EDC- PSARK Rt. front pocket
Duty carry- PSARK Rt. cargo and Commander Lt. cargo pocket.
 
Sure. My Commander is my EDC. Being able to have your knife open up as you pull it out of your pocket is great when opening boxes etc. The wave is not necessarily simply for defense measures.

What I really like about the Commander is that it is an all around knife. When I am riding my HD, I carry the Commander in a quick deployment kydex Emerson sheath. When I am working around customers I simply clip it in my pocket. It is great.
 
I have a SOFCK-B (TANTO) that is never that far away from me.

I carry two knives, one clipped to each rear pocket.

I carry some combination of Commander, Mini-C, Super-C, PSARK or Strider GB. Notice that the GB is the only un waved carry piece.

yar, I enjoy the mini-commander as an edc. It's the smallest knife with the wave i think. I like them small knives in my pocket cuz it feels uncomfortable in my pocket if it is a big knife.

But if I am in the outdoors i'll whip out my 12 inch meat cleaver.

Thanks to all for your replies. My Commander came in mail order today and it's going to find a home in my pocket. It'll be fun learning to wave it, as soon as my thumb heals :eek:

EDC - CQC-7B, '01 #060, always in right front pocket of my jeans.

I use it for cutting card board, tape and string which I encounter in my office everyday, though I do not wave it open everytime.

It was replaced by a Spyderco Native when I travelled to Mainland China and Taiwan because I did not know the law about knife carrying there and did not want my CQC took away by local police but I think I can carry my CQC next time, maybe I will carry both my CQC and Native - two knives are better than one when you do not know where you can buy another knife when you lose your one and only one knife in a place you do not know !
 
My EDC would be a PSARK SFS GH[Serialed] , and a Commander SFS 2001 ...talk about being "Green"...:D
 
The Mini-Commander is always with me during the week. Commander on the weekends. :D
 
I carry a Commander in the Rt. cargo pocket, PSARK in the Lt. cargo pocket and a CQC7 in Rt. front pocket.

Glad to see you got a Commander... EVERYBODY needs a Commander IMNSHO.

Mine has been my EDC for about a year and a half now, and I love it.
Its been missing for about 3 weeks, and I just found it yesterday... boy was I a happy camper! :D

I carry a PSARK as my EDC and I love it. It works great on the job too. I am a medic and it has been a lifesaver countless times. As soon as other crews see the wave they are blown away by the speed and toughness of this knife. I guess you can tell I recommend it :D
 
My EDC is a black blade plain SOCFK #440.On duty it is a '99 Commander black blade plain.Big Wave Dave OUT
