Long time lurker first time posting I suppose
With that out of the way... I received a mini grip in M390 and love it for an EDC carry. GREAT knife. Have a few fixed blades and a Spyderco Delica FFG on order.
Anyways! Somewhat new to the knife game but I do play guitar/bass full time. I used an interesting product called "Nut Lube" on my AXIS lock. It is so slick it's scary! It's a good product but not intended for knife use. It has an awesome name BTW but is basically a mixture of a petroleum base impregnated with graphite. Meant to help tuning but a very slick mixture for sure against the friction of the string and nut.To be honest ... I've had it for years and don't need it for it's intended purpose. It's an awesome formula obviously not intended for knife use.
HOWEVER - and I suppose to point is :
I use a product called " Zymol Cleaner Wax" for alot of things. Don't get me started on paint or anything of that nature... it rocks. It is spendy but worth it on a nice car (or a guitar). Basically I used Flitz to buff out the blade of said knife and used Zymol to coat the blade. Why? It leaves an awesome finish. And it's non-toxic. Mostly beeswax and no solvent. Does anyone have any opinion? I have no doubt that there is better lube. But Zymol as a coating on is just awesome. Anyone have any experience or wisdom?????
