Ive been thinking of getting a Mission MBK-ti for kayak fishing, surf fishing and general boating stuff.

I know there are lots of great super stainless options. Part of my urge to purchase is based as much on curiosity as anything else, plus I like the profile.

If anyone has any info theyde care to share that would be cool.

Thanks
Riz

Mission makes some of the finest Ti knives ever crafted. I do a lot of scuba diving and I always carry a Mission MPK12 and a MPS or one of their all Ti folders with me. I also carry a Mission daily. They hold up amazing. They are impossible to break and they hold an amazing edge. You can beat them up and they will perform with no problem. They make some of the finest hard use knives ever crafted. Get you one!

A quick search of the forum shows you had some mission knives. Still got em? How’d they work?
I definitely use the smaller one often fishing in salt water, often full soaking bag with ocean water, blade remains flawless, for salt environments a definite recommend

Pros:
Knife is highly resistant to varied environmental conditions: Low maintenance.
Light weight: EZ to forget it's on your person(possible con).
Surprisingly sharp.
Factory sheath retention is solid.
Tough(hearsay): Haven't had to pry yet, but the blade stock is thick enough and feels solid.

Cons:
Factory G10 grip could be better contoured.
Sheath carry option could be better. Factory mounting was nylon loops: Had to buy a Discreet Gear Clip™ + hardware based on my needs.

Mainly used knife on cordage, retort pouches, and the occasional paper: Haven't needed to sharpen.
