Anyone used a special forces CRKT M16?

Does anyone have experience with the 3.5 inch SFM16? I'm not sure how I feel about the modified hilt...it seems like it would be awkward in the pocket, but when it's open, it seems like a good idea. But does it inhibit your thumb for heavy cutting?
 
I have the larger version. The dual flippers is really annoying for carry, tip up or down. I can't recommend buying one. The knife really doesn't have much to offer, unless you just like the look of it. I bought one in ignorance, a year or so ago.
 
I thought the flippers might be problematic to carry. I believe it was you that also said the liner failed in the SFM16, right?
 
I have a Tanto Style M16-13SF 3.5" blade and have had no problems. The additional flipper on the back of the blade has not inhibited carry for me at all. The flipper on the front does wear on my jeans pocket over time, but that is any of the M16s.
