Anyone used the pork belly skinner for actually skinning something yet?

I have loaded up some 30-06 rounds and will be going Feral Hog hunting with the wife at Ft Stewart in GA soon.

Looks like it should work well. The knife is smaller than I originally though and the grooved recesses are not as prominent as I had originally though, which is why I did not buy it or the hell razor. Thank Skunk for the company store!

I bought this one for trade; looks like it won't be traded anytime soon!

Imagine using the Pork belly skinner so skin a HOG, is that a sin? Or does it just increase the value of the knife!>

Any ideas on how to sharpen up the edge to razor sharp?

Not at all. In fact I recall a hog that used a hog of a knife to stab a hog down under and showed some hog pics for his fellow hogs to hog over. That was a fun day at the trough for that hog. ;) :D

Post some pics and good hunting to you:cool:

I'm interested too... Sure like to know how one performs! Anybody want to loan me one -- I'll skin a hog with it and post pics -- then your knife will be worth double what you paid! :D :D

No pork belly skinner here, my AD and SJTac get all the glory. I skinned 5 whitetails, no pork though, with my SJTac this past year and really love the way it performed for being its size. I have found a new hunting partner with my SJTac, awesome knife and great design and has grown to be definitely one of my favorites.:)

The SJTac was new and I was trying it out as an all round field knife. You can choke up on it and it skins like a dream, then you can chop the legs off and chop your fire lighter wood, it did everything great. The PBS looks like a great skinner though, reminds me of the old wyoming skinner blade I used years ago. I wouldn't mind having one, but I HAVE to control my INFIction at some point so I can save for the FBM:eek: Would definitely like to hear some reviews of the PBS, so come on fellas lets hear some user reviews, errr or are they all in the safes:rolleyes:

I skinned my middle finger trying to cram three at a time in one of my safes does that count!:D

WHAT?!! Did yours make it out of the shop without an edge that would just scare the hairs into popping off?!!I don`t know what to say.
(Mutters to self) Dang. A guy gets married and moves 10,000 miles away for one stinkin` year and the whole place goes to pot without me.

GARTH!! Step awy from the chicken bucket, and sharpen this man`s knife!

seriously -- are they SHARP? REALLY SHARP? :o
