Hi,

I was just wondering if you guys have started using the Tritium powered Traser Glowrings already.
I have bought some for our club and besides using them as a key-chain that can be seen in the dark we already used it as "orientation" lights for the younger scouts (7-11 years).
We put some Glowrings in the room they all were sleeping in after a night hike. It helped them when they woke up at night, it gave them a "point" to focus on (besides the nice colors) and our experience is that they are less likely to start crying/get homesick etc. when we have some small light source where they sleep.
We used some Krills and they are great but produce more "light" then we really need.

Buyers of these Glowrings beware, they look quiet bright on the website pictures but this is ONLY in pitch darkness.

We sold a couple ($12) to some scouting friends and they were slightly disappointed as they were thinking in "LED light" terms.

Any usefull other applications you use them for? let me hear them.

Best scouting wishes from Holland,

Hi Conrads,

Just sent you an email.

You can see them for $15 to $26 at Ebay + postage which I think is a lot of money.

Go see http://www.traser-uk.com

We have some spares at our club so if interested drop me an email ($25 for 2 sounds reasonable to me)

Best scouting wishes from Holland,
