Anyone using a Scrapyard 1311?

I plan to. Just picked one up last week and have some Azwelke pants for it arriving next week. EXCITED to use it around the yard and hopefully we'll get some user pics here :D

My go to chopper

Ill give you some of my favorite points on the blade.

Length: 13" blade IMO is incredibly useful and really lets you put a good swing with plenty of leverage.
Thickness: 3/16" is a perfect blend for strength and speed.
Steel: SR101 is one of my all time favorite steels, especially for a chopping knife.
Handle: Incredibly comfortable.
Warranty: Cant get much better than what it is.
Price: For a 13" blade chopper in a quality steel from an experiences company with an amazing warranty, even the secondary market price of ~$230 is a steel! ;)

I say go for it, I have had many choppers but so far this one has been the most suited for my use.

I used my at my cabin a month ago to cut and trim all the overgrowth and split kindling. It performed fantastic!! I still like my Basic 11 a tad better but forits more comfortable to carry. You won't regret it all if you really want one. I will carry it on my 4 wheeler to for grooming trails and such.

Great chopper!
The Res-C handle doesn't transfer vibrations to your hand.

I wish that too! It seems the knife has little shock, but the area on my palm near my pinky took a blister.
