Anyone Using Knifeart's Extreme Field Knife - 4" Fixed Blade?

working on my next fixed blade bushcrafter, trying to decided between a Laconico, an F1 with custom (g10 or micarta) handles (hate the standard thermoplast handles, love the blade itself), or possibly the KnifeArt 4" Field Knife mentioned in the title.

it's pretty much a given that i'm eventually going to end up with all of them :).

but i don't know anyone who's used/reviewed this blade to know what they think. hate to blow $275 and not like it. doubt that will happen, always been very happy with knifeart's quality, but wanted ask around here to see if anyone's got one.

i don't want to break the rules and link to a commercial website, and the pics are copyrighted so i don't want to cut-n-paste, sorry to be vague.
but it's under the knifeart exclusive knives tab, 4" fixed blade, D2. looks solid.

anyone got one? if so, what do you think of it?

thanks for the help!

It looks like a good design to me, guess you could order one and see if you like it or not, how it fits etc.

There's a Ray Laconico in the custom for sale by individual section right now. Between those two, I know which one I would buy.

I've had my eye on the Knifeart Field Extreme Field for a while now. because I also like the design.

If any one is interested in how it looks in the hand, I've posted this picture. I just got it in the mail today so I haven't had a chance to mess around with it. But it feels sturdy and very comfortable, thanks to the large handle. I hope to be carrying this one around a lot.
