***Anyone want a BM47A or a BM43A -BOWIE INTRODUCTION- !!!***

Before Chuck (or someone else) jumps me for posting a for sale thread on the Balisong forum, I would just like to say that I am not making a profit, I am just trying to lend a hand to any one who is interested! I work in a knife store, and today, when I went to my work, there was a Package from Benchmade Knife Co. Inside were 2 BM47A's and 2 BM43A's. 100% New in box plain edge, but to my surprise, the 2 Bowies WERE NUMBERED!!! Written with the words "Bowie Introduction" (I think). I am merely posting this because I know that these are hard to get, and there are several people whom might be interested in one of the 4 Balisongs with out having to wait, especially the Numbered ones. I do not even know the prices on the new Benchmade Balisongs yet (we have not gotten price sheets) but if any one is interested in a BM47A or a Numbered BM43A (they were also low numbers, 30 and 40/100 I believe) Please let me know. I am merely posting this to help out my Bali swinging friends. I will try to get some discount, but we are a B&M store, and almost every thing will be MSRP, which compared to Internet prices are quite high. But this is no wait, and the Bowies are NUMBERED!!! We also have a numbered BM42AS, if any one is interested. I am not in this for personal gain or profit, but I know that these are rare and just came out (I also don't need one cause I have my 43 already) so if anyone is interested, please let me know.

I will check to see if I can get prices on the BMs tomorrow. But I am not sure if I can. Let me know (email) if there is interest-

I think we should really thank MMTMatrix. I would have to saythis is real generous of him. Personaly I would have kept the knives.:p :D
 
Kyui is right. Hes not gettin any $ for this. Thanks Matrix. I would of traded up for a custom or 2 though.:D
 
Wow, that's a lot of interest in these. I should clarify that they are not exactly my knives (the are officially the stores), but I have first go/shot on them and can get them. I am just trying to do you guys a favor, and I am glad that its appreciated. I will try to find the prices today, but its not up to me/its not my part. But I will try, it should be known that the prices will be slightly higher than "Internet prices" but, unlike Internet sites, there will be no wait. I will try to get prices today, and post later.

Well, Guys, I have a bit of bad news. I have the price of the New BMs and it is $180 for the Anodized 47's and the numbered 43's plus tax and shipping. Due to the interest that we have had in the store from customers, I will not be able to get a discount on all of them, because it would be unfair to the other people whom have already asked us at the physical store location. But, if any one would still be interested in one of them at full retail price, I would be more than willing to lend a hand, I just wish I could get a better discount that I could pass on to every one. So if any one is interested, it would be $192 plus shipping. I wish it was less, but its not. Sorry to ever one -- let me know if there is anything that I can do.

I held a 47A and a numbered 43A (Bowie Introduction) at the knife store MMT works at. The anodization has gotten a lot more consistent, it is mainly purple but you can see some green in there also. The bowies have fairly low numbers and I couldn't see a problem with any of 'em. I would get one (or 2) but I don't like the anodized Bali-Songs, just a personal preference.

More purple? Darn I wish they would get to that metallic blue:(
 
Yeah, it was pretty much all purple except near the butt of the handles where it was slightly green. I like the blue more but would prefer red or black (well, now they have the powder coated handles that are black).
