I was at the Herman Miller furniture company outlet store the other day and they had some pretty good-sized hides available at $15 each. Each was different. Seemed pretty thick, but the leather was very supple. For use in furniture. There were a couple brown ones, and maybe some black or dark grey (I can't remember exactly). This would probably be good for laminating to Kydex for sheaths or made into strips to wrap handles, etc. MOst of the hides were around a foot wide by 2-3 feet long or so. Stuff moves really fast there, so I have no idea what will be there at any given time. If you want me to pick you up some plus shipping, let me know. Make it fast, though, because there is high turnaround there.
