Why does no one ever check the WTB section, especially the hogs with INFI coming out their ears :D . It would really be nice if some you you veteran hogs would take a look sometime. ;) I would appreciate if some you Busse sellers would take a quick look. Sorry thatmguy if I am out of line here, I am not posting a link or anything, just trying to get myself some Busse Military Overuns. Again sorry, anyone want to help me out :) . Please :)

I'm sure a few check here and there... Sometimes, it will take a while for someone to take their hooves off of a certain knife. I know from experience ;)

Peter, you have to realize that the Military over runs are some of the most rare of the Busse knives released, less than (30) in most cases. Being rare, collectors tend to keep them, even thought they might be "Lying around", they are still wanted. When sold, you have to be quick to the draw and they also demand a high price. One other point is that when someone does decide to sell, they often like to offer it on the open market so that everyone has a chance at it. Don't be discouraged if after one day no one contacts you with something for sale, sometimes it take months or years to find what you are looking for.
Between now and Blade (June 3rd), there will be lots of knives for sale by those who are looking for money to have at Blade, I've already seen more busse knives for sale than normal.

Peter, just be patient.
While Busse Mil. overruns are very exciting, other specials that are very cool will pop up soon enough to leave your credit card smoking. Trust me. and keep your eyes open.
BTW, A BUNCH of new Busses will be coming out in the following months. Look at the company store and Busse Combat regularly.
They aren't cheap because they are THE BEST, and before long you won't be able to afford one you really want.
BTW, a really good buy is one of 300 earliest Battle Mistresses.
I think I just saw one for sale.

I think KAAK is saying that if someone doesn't buy it quick, he is going to have the hog feed to buy it!!

I really appreciate everyone's advice on this subject. I noticed that 1 of 300 Battle Mistress and gave it some serious thought. It really is a great knife and an excelent collectible but I am sort of more a user than collector. I realize that I could buy it for 600US and then sell it at a profit in the years to come but in those years I will have spent 600US on a knife that would not do me any good. I intend to use my EU-17 Magnum very hard and I think I got it at a good price. Thus this peice will be my main fixed blade when I go bushwacking or on any other wilderness excursions. I do not mean to put down anyone but I do not buy my knives for collectable value. Any further advice on the subject would be appreciated.

Patience Grasshopper.... or in this case... funny squatting Panda Bear

It is not my fault I cannot change it :D

Whaddya mean not a user?

All Busses are users.

Some use them to chop, cut, dig, hack, slice, pound, wail, flail, and sail.

Others use them to hold their safes down.....

Well, Peter, then it seems that perhaps you're getting a bit too excited. Your EU-17 will last you a VERY long time, so you've got plenty of time to keep your eyes open for other military overruns. With your great desire to acquire more large user busses that are military overruns, I thought that it would certainly be for collector value. However, if this is not the case, you certainly have plenty of time before you need a new Busse.
In my opinion, if you are look for other large users, a knife called the Aftershock Bolo OR Mr./Uncle Mojo/Mofo might be a good ones think about. It's not a military overrun, but they do have recurves to them that will give you a more diverse arsenal. I hope that helps.
.
BTW, if you're serious about acquiring a BARF, please note they are LIGHT. They are serious fighting machines, and you would much better to look elsewhere for a user. (unless you're looking for a big kitchen knife)
Speaking of which, a Busse knife that would come in VERY handy indeed would be the NICK, the Busse kitchen knife. Good Luck.

Thanks Walking Man for the information and everyone else as well. I think I am going to look into a HOG FSH when they come out. By the way, what comes first, the AK or the Fusion BM?

Thanks again Walking Man for that detail about the BARF.
