I'm going to be travelling this weekend and can't get the UFC PPV Rashad Evans v. John Jones. I think that Hooters is showing it but I've never gone to a PPV event at a place like that. Has anyone? How early do you get there? Do they let you keep a table for the whole show even if you don't keep buying drinks\food? (if I did go I'd buy me and my son a bunch of food, etc., I wouldn't try to cheap them out but not for the whole 3 hours)

I've never watched a fight at Hooters (have at Winghouse) but I'd imagine if you got there 45 min to an hour before it starts you'll be fine. If you're at a table and you've ordered food/drinks you'll be good for the whole fight, they won't try and run you out.

ETA: Jones is gonna go Beast Mode all over Rashad :D

You will be fine. Their appetizers are good. When I went to watch a game, I just ordered several appetizers that I could enjoy for a few hours.

I wish they still had a hooters around here...

They used to do UFC at all the Applebees in the area. The places were packed. Then some new company bought them all, and stopped doing it. Now they all look like Ghost-towns on UFC nights...

Very few choices of where to go and view now.

It really depends on who's fighting. The fights start at 10pm est, and when Silva and Griffen fought it was packed an hour and a half before. This is a pretty big fight, so expect to be there close to 8 or so.

Not sure about Hooters but you know Jones is gonna dominate the octagon ! Go Jon "Bones" Jones !
