Anyone watching the History Channel???

PASS. Watched it live that day. Watched pieces of it in teh coming days afterwards. Have changed the channel every single time since. I was a terrorist-hatin, Al Kite-ah stompin mofo BEFORE 9/11. I don't need that pain to remind me to shoot teh guy with the 1920's style lifejacket and a detonator in his hand.

(Should one happen into my A/O. Which usually doesn't happen.)

Yes, had to turn it off here.

Wife was gettin upset. I was too a bit.

Our company (at the time, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter Discover) got almost all of our people out.

We'll never forget.

I don't need to see it again. One of the worst days of my life; permanently embedded in my neurons.

And anyway, what's the deal? I thought the History Channel had become totally committed to UFO's and Hitler. Guess I'm (once again) out of touch.

I couldn't watch to the end either. Too upsetting, and I didn't need to cry anymore. May we get ALL the bastids behind these attacks!

had to turn it off too. too much anger, too many memories. too close to home. i saw a good bit of it through binocs. it was only only about 15 miles from here.

As much as I wanted to turn it off I watched the entire show. I'm sure any one of the people that died that day would be more than happy to have the ability to be alive and watching it.

It's still as upsetting seven years later.... It brings back all the painful memories that I never want to forget.

My wife and I were about two blocks away watching as the second plane hit. We had just come from the WTC a few minutes before the first plane which we heard it but had no idea what the sound was. Though I lost a few friends that day whenever it comes on I cannot keep from watching. I am always transfixed by that horrific spectacle and my memories of that bad, bad day.

I know 911 is hard to deal with, but I think we need to watch it so we don't forget what happened. Then maybe we can prevent it from ever happening again.
