The Fallkniven PXL has been out for awhile. I am very tempted to order one. Anyone care to post a review/pics? I have read a few reviews, particularly on british blades but I could use a few more as its pretty expensive and I won't be seeing it in person pre-purchase. Thanks all.

Well I can say first off, this has to be one of the most beautiful folding knives that I have ever seen.
Sorry I don't have any experience with it specifically, just sharing the pics.
I may actually look deeper into this as well! What a knife, I can't believe how gorgeous it looks!
But keep that in mind, as it seems to be more of a collector knife than anything else, IMO.

No can do pictures but I have the white micarta version. I really like this knife a lot. The fit/finish is great, everything lines up as it should, the liner lock is good and crisp, although I did put more bend into it to make it stiffer, but that's just me. The blade action is smooth and the knife is quite hefty, another plus in my book. The only thing I found I didn't like was how smooth the knife is. A bb version, blade and bolsters, coupled with some canvas micarta handles would make an excellent using knife. As it is, I do carry it on occassion, mostly to church. A great knife that you should really enjoy. In fact I have my eye on the maroon version for this spring.

Btw, the above pictures show nail nicks for opening, mine has thumbstuds.

Thanks for the replies guys! I am particularly interested in the white micarta with thumbstuds so your feedback is appreciated.

I have the maroon micarta version and I just love the knife. It is my favourite folder and definitely the best folder from Fällkniven. I agree that the knife is a bit too smooth, and I find it a bit heavy too, but apart from that it is perfect. I wonder how PXL could compete with other top folders like CR Sebenza, Bradley Alias and Striders.

I also have the maroon version and love it, the custom quality workmanship is really impressive. Tightening the pivot a little made opening and closing it feel more secure. Heavy, yes, but not a deterrent for frequent carrying, it has a real solid feel, and the handle fits my hand perfectly. I like the blade shape, it really holds an edge (I just touched it up with ceramic stones a couple of times). The stubby deep pocket clip is a great feature and is my favorite clip. Having both function and beauty, this knife is easily in my top 5.

The PXL is a beautiful looking knife---although it's not just a looker; it practically begs to be used.

Simply put, what a knife!
