Anyone worked with O-6 tool steel?

I just bought a piece of O-6 tool steel. Does anyone have experience forging and heat treating O-6? Anything I need to know before I start? What types of knives are best from O-6? I seem to remember reading that some of Bill Moran's Bowies were from O-6? Is that right? Thanks for the help.

If I remember correctly, O6 is basically O1 with the addition of graphite powder added to aid machineability. I looked into it, but the cost was a lot more than O1.
