Anyone's Badger Attack smell funny?

My Badger Attack came today . Sharpest Busse I've received. The handles have a funny smell. Kinda smells like insecticide? Anyone else know what I'm talking about?

Also don't ask, I have no idea how I got around to sniffing my knife's handle .

Wet cardboard smell. My 2 Scrappers I got recently smelled of it. After a few days it went away.

I was going to suggest horse manure, but monkey poo is an acceptable substitute.

I'll bet you're also a couch sniffer you know.....one of THOSE. When people get up off the couch and leave the room you immediately go and smell where they were sitting. I noticed my godson does that. Wierdo.
