hey everyone i am looking at picking up my first BUSSE, and i am really digging the look of the pork shank,,, i have a GSo 5.1 and i am curious if anyone has both, and how they stack up as far as size is and dimensions!
thanks in advance...

ps pics would be awesome!

Marino- Only have the Shank, no Gso. Highly recommanded, perfect size allround knife in my opinion.

Pork shank is a great blade!
As Rag said above--It feels/handles very well & easier to sharpen than cpm3V.

thanks for the pics ragnerok. i wish it was just a smidge bigger, but i do really like that knife,,,, do you busse aficianodo's have any other similar blades pop into your head when you are thinking of the pork shank??? i would love to entertain some options!

The PS is a great knife, I can see why you guys like is so much.

I would wait and get the GSO 5.1 in cpm 20cv, it is amazing steel. Have a GSO 4.1 in CPM 20cv and it holds an edge for forever

It's bigger than it looks. Had one for a short time. I was looking for a smaller blade. Got a custom shop AMS instead. If you are worried about it being too small, you might be pleasantly surprised.

Had a gso 5.1, nice knife, but a little too thin in the handle for my liking. I never had a pork shank so I can't compare. Gso blade appears to be wider than shank.
