Anything else needed for knife care?

Hi all,

So I've got...
-DMT Magna guide with Xcoarse -> XXfine stones
-Flitz
-Tuf Glide
-Loctite (Blue)
-Torx set / Allen wrench set

Is there anything else that'd be a good idea to have on hand to maintain my knives? Whether it be sharpening or just general care? Do I need a strop or ceramic rods to finish off the burr after sharpening with the xxfine? (Brands or specific item names would be helpful if any are mentioned).

The xxfine would be finer than a ceramic rod, try using a strop with diamond compound to get even sharper.

Once you break in the xxfine it will produce a almost perfect burr free edge, stropping will still take it to the next level though.
