Anything I can use for knife bolts?

Hello I am making my first knife, it's actually a folding knife, I already have the metal cut out in the shapes I want. I just need to know is there anything I can use to put the knife together besides knife bolts I buy online? Just don't know if there's a trick out there i don't know about or something

Welcome! A folder for your first is quite the undertaking. Would love to see some pictures!

I can't help with your question but I do like screw together construction on my folders. A lot of traditional folders (and some modern) have a pinned construction.

I would suggest looking around the Shop Talk forum. Lots of amateur and professional makers in there that could help you out.
