I have some exams in Dallas around early May. Thinking of spending a week site seeing with the wife either side of that (not sure which side).

Anything of interest thats worth a look?

I wish I had more time but I can not manage it as we only have a baby sitter for 2 weeks...

AND YES I KNOW BLADE 08 IS SO DAMN @#$% CLOSE! :grumpy:

I just can not move the exams forward. I have tried...:(

Blade won't be going on, but jump on a plane and visit Atlanta anyway. We'll have a Gundy parade! It'll be fun. I swear! :D

Absolutely!!! I'll come down and pass out... er... sleep on Shane's floor!

Does "FUN" involve whiskey? :)

"Fun" ALWAYS involves whiskey! And with Paddling man around, "fun" usually involves banjo music.

Not sure what your version of fun might be but here are a few various things of interest.
Best biker bar in Dallas. http://www.strokersdallas.com
They have live music on weekends and scantily clad beer tub honeys (some of Dallas' finest I might add).
The Lodge is a very upscale strip joint.
West End and Deep Elum are always cool to visit.
If you are more interested in tamer entertainment, there is plenty to of that as well. There is just so much here. If you can't find it in Dallas, you probably don't need it.
Not sure what will be going on while you are here but between Dallas and Ft Worth, there is ALWAYS something happening. There is a train that goes between them for ease of travel. A little investigation on the web should give you more info on current events when the time gets nearer.

You have got to call me when you get here so we can have a drink or 2 :D I can meet you anywhere anytime! If we are doing any kind of get together, I'll definately be there!:thumbup:

Cerberus

FWIW Dallas has some of the best strip clubs on Earth if ur into that sort of thing.

Oh yeah and +1 to Fogo. Best meat I've ever had. COME HUNGRY

Yes, Fogo is here as well as Tejas de Brazil (same concept as Fogo) Is that blasphemous here in the Busse Forum:confused::D

Tejas de Brazil is great. I've eaten at the one in Schaumburg IL. Good stuff...

Only minor differences, but all good.

Send a PM to Rat-30, John owns the Metroplex...

There's a few sweet gun shops if you think you may want to do some shopping.

Well, course/exam location just got changed. It is now in Houston.

Anything to do over that way? :(
