Anything like a 3" Ti-lite?

I'm looking for a slim, dagger type knife with a 3" blade, that can be "waved" open. I know the "wave " is an EKI trademark, but I'm not here to fight about whether cold-steel ripped off EKI's idea or not.
Something like a 3" Ti-lite would be about perfect.
Totally perfect would have a carbon fiber handle, and a flat ground single-edged blade of decent steel (like Al-mar's earlier ultralight hawk/falcon series, non-talon configuration). Custom is not out of the question if someone makes a quality knife of this type. Thanks for your suggestions.

One of the nicer ones I have is the Kabar Dozier designed Thorn folder. I like the way the tip entirely conceals in the body of the folder when the blade is closed too. In the event that someone actually wanted to sharpen the false edge you could do so on that one without worry from the blade cutting you even when closed. The D2 steel of the blade makes the Thorn a pretty good cutter and edge keeper also. It is almost like having a scalpel on you at all times when you have it on you. It has a nice thin grind and is very capable. Only thing I don't care much for is the tip down carry.

That AG Sting is a little too broad from edge to spine, I had something slimmer in mind, but very close.
I had though about the Thorn, but it wont "wave" open.

No it won't Wave unless you fabricated one that mounted on the spine through the thumbstud hole. My 4" Ti-Lite Waves open as easy as any factory Waved knife I have used. You can't tell me that is by accident either. They may not advertise that feature from Cold Steel but Lynn Thompson knew what that was when it was made.

Ok, who was the original designer or the Ti Lite? And how much would a custom run? Thanks

Phil Boguszewski. Also did the 650 and 1000 for Benchmade.

You can zip-tie wave a Benchmade 530. The 2 studs have extruded ends that will retain very small sized zip ties. I did this for a friend (one one each side). The knife doesn't close all the way now, but the tip is still inside the handle.
