I suppose this coming Blade Show will be as crowded as last year's. Anyway, what are some of the stellar coming attractions at this major knife event?

Any groundbreaking, earth-shattering creations that will knock the slip-joints out of alignment?

I'm looking forward to the introduction of the Becker Extreme line of knives from Camillus.

My guess is that Spyderco will actually exhibit their new Spyderfly balisong in their booth, it's first real, official, public exhibition.

And I'm hoping to pick up something rather special myself.

Swamp Rat Knife Works will be introducing a new line as well .... ;)

The Swamp Rat Tactical Line (SRT)

Keep watching the Swamp Rat forum for more details

I'll be there! Isn't that enough? :)

Mr. Emerson has stated that his company is going to be involved in a big event at the show but he isn't giving any specifics. But according to him it will be significant.

I hope someone gets first-hand experiences with a Benchmade 780 and writes a good review; wish I could

Hey Guys

Yaaa America's Sweetheart, Christine Simonich will be there...

Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend this year...

I'll be dissapointed in Ya'll if you don't buy her out by 11am... :)

ttyle

Eric...

Benchmade
is going to reintroduce the model 31 but the new version is aimed at the entry level Balisong buyer. It is suppose to have colored FRN handles with 420HC blade steel to keep costs down. Initial handle colors will be black and purple with other colors added later. It is suppose to debut at the Blade show. The original release was suppose to be the SHOT show but problems with the handles forced the release date to be postponed until the upcomming Blade show.

Sorry you're not making it this year Eric -- I was looking foward to meeting you.

Every Blade Show is Special for the following reasons (in order of importance to me).

  1. You get to see friends.
  2. You get to make more friends.
  3. There is aways new stuff.
One of these years I hope to meet Golok!

My main reason for attending this year is to sit in on Bastids seminar on Knife Buying & Goat Seduction: An Amateurs Guide To Total Bliss. ;)

How are people going to be identifiable as BF members? I would really like to meet some of you, last time it was dumb luck that I bumped into Danelle, Ken, Maurice, Ren and Co :)

Are there any plans for Friday and Saturday night?
