Does anyone know of any places in orange county california that teach any Filipino Arts?
Also what are the names of some of the filipino arts?
Thanks for helping a newbie to any of the arts and this is my first time hearing of any filipino kind.

Steve Tarani, an instructor for several FMA styles and Gunsite Knife Training, teaches in Irvine I believe. A friend of my trains there. I believe they also have Muay Thai and BJJ training.

Dan Inosanto's place is near LAX. Is that Orange County or north or it?

Do a search in these forum. I think someone had posted a link to a FMA index site which list places of training nationally.

If I remember correctly Paul Vunak is located in Orange County, at least I flew into the Orange County airport when I trained with him. He teaches JKD/Kali and BJJ all wrapped up in one great package.

I train/teach at Steve's school (West Coast Academy). Steve and his partner (Jerry Huffman) teach a myriad of styles covering everything from weapons ranges to groundfighting. Vunak teaches out of his home (I believe) by invitation only (last I heard.) No contact info.

Depending on what you can afford/how far you will travel, one of my certified students is in Garden Grove - Jerry Wetzel @ 562 208 1771

Paul is $100.00 an hour.
Jerry is $20.00 an hour.

Of course there is no camparing the two, but they are options for you.
