Hello, does anyone have any info on Anza file knives. I believe the head guy worked for buck for many years. Interesting carbon blades and want to pick one up but need some feedback.

I have never owned an Anza, but have seen quite a few and made sheaths for a couple.

They are relatively inexpensive knives made from high carbon steel. In my experience they have comfortable handles and they take a very nice edge.

I haven't done any work with one, but assuming that the steel is properly heat treated, they should be very servicable knives.

Thank you Andy, I will now pull the trigger and purchase one.
I will post a review a week after I receive it.

I've had a couple different Anza knives custom made / customized. Each time I was thrilled with the end product and the customer service.

You might want to check out the file knives Mykle Morris puts up for sale in the custom fixed blade section of the forum. His knives go quick and looks like he does some fantastic work.
