I just got this Anza "palm" knife:
It's great! My favorite knife at the moment and I just ordered another. I love the file teeth that are left. It's was the sharpest knife I tested among my BK7 (new), Greco whisper folder (just sharpened), Swamp Rat Camp Tramp (after chopping hardwood), Opinel No. 8 (recently sharpened), Bench Made 806D2, Helle something (sharpened), and some kind of Minnesota handmade carbon steel camp knife that's shaped kinda like a spatula and is my favorite camp knife. I tested by cutting one of those plastic wine corks, subjectively feeling for ease of cut. The new Anza won, second was the Opinel, with the BK7 close behind. I hoped my newly reprofiled Greco would do better, since it's my EDC. My camp knife did well.
The thin slicers did better as expected. But the Anza has a thick spine. Some, like the Camp Tramp and the 806D2 just need to be sharped.
