Just seen one on e-bay .Any of you guy's ever had any experience with this type of knife made with a file.

Don't have any personal experience, but have heard that he makes good using knives.

Charlie Davis, knifemaker & owner of Anza Knives is a friend of ours, and if you'll do a search here at BFC under 'Anza', you'll probably find a quick answer to most of your questions...

If not, contact Charlie direct at http://www.anzaknives.com/ ...

The thing of it is, we didn't know 'dick all' about Anza until we started writing for Jim Nowka's Knifeforums.com magazine, and through that endevour we met and became fast friends with Charlie and his team...

Edna, my ever so loving wife, did a write up on Anza for the KFC magazine about a year ago, just before Anza hit the big time with write ups in a half dozen other magazines...if you'd like a back issue copy, shoot us an email, and we'll send one your way...

The bottom line here is; Charlie makes a knife as sharp, if not sharper than 98% of what's out there, at a really low price point...good, sturdy, using knives...and sold for a song :)

p.s. I tried to break one in a vise once, I tried...and couldn't. (I'm about a big 'ol boy too, as if that matters...lol)

Ive seen a couple and was quite impressed considering the low cost and where they are made. The fit and finish of the ones I saw were pretty decent.

I had two of the smaller Anza blades. They where very cool little knives. Simple and strong. I sold them though as they where too thick for my taste on a knife that small. I plan on ordering another larger Anza. Don't expect a lot of frills on the knife they are tools, but they are full of charecter.

I had Charlie make an F4 pattern, with a double cut file, and black micarta scales. It is my personal fixed carry knife. It is very tough, sharp, and reasonable in price. It is also a nice looking knife as well.
He is a good guy, with plenty of stories. :D
