anza knives?

Great cutters. I believe that they're made from old files, as were Buck knives when that firm started quite a few decades ago.

I really like Anza knives.

Made of files - generally Nicholson - which have been annealed then tempered.
(Very rarely they'll be made of plain 1095.)

Handles are almost always diamondwood, although occasionally you see Micarta or some type of horn as well.

They come from Anza with a hairpopping sharp edge which lasts a good long time.

Some are quite plain, others have filework on them, some have highly polished handles which are very attractive.

I have several and and have given some as gifts. I like them a lot. Great value for the money. Will rust quick if you're not careful though.

They are a great buy in my mind.

I keep forgetting about Anza's! But that's easy to do when you have a Dozier. Still, would love to pick one up in a trade or something. Definitely very usable knives, just not the prettiest things.
