I've heard and read that Anza knives are supposed to be rediculously sharp, but when I bought one it was quite dull. It couldn't cut paper, leather, and could barely cut wood. It was almost impossible to get an edge on it with what I had, so I got rid of it. Has anyone else had this problem or did I just get a bad one?

I've had a few and had no problems. I sharpened one for a friend a while back before deer season. I gave it to him several years ago.Took a decnt edge and he didn't mention any problems.

I have one of their smaller models, a fixed blade with a 3" blade. The edge it came with was far too thick, I've been working at grinding it down but without power tools it's a lot of work. I don't have any experience with their larger models.
