AOL or Bellsouth? Dial up woes

What would be better to go with? I am sick and tired of slow dial ups and there has to be a better way. Considering a change. Mind you there is no cable out here to sign on to and have any of you switched and are happier?

I would go with DSL if it available in your area. It uses your existing telephone lines and you can talk and surf the net at the same time.

Never AOL. Anything but is better, in almost all circumstances.
