My service is Verizon, but instead of Internet Explorer, we use AOL Explorer, which is great, except I can't get into my Hotmail account. I have to use Internet Explorer, and when I do, I get the endless parade of popups. Whenever I use my cookies function to get onto Hotmail, either a direct link to the Hotmail sign in page, or a search engine like Google or Altavista, or go straight to the MSN homepage, I can't get in. A few times, I was able to get in on the first try, but it might take me about five tries, during which the AOL Explorer window will close while it tries to open the Hotmail sign in screen. Any ideas?

Ditch AOL Explorer. It's total crap. Stick with IE6 and be sure to update to SP2 (if you have WinXP) which has a pop-up blocker.

The way my local alpha geek would explain it:

Verizon is pretty sucky, and Hotmail is pretty sucky, and even Internet Explorer has its sucky aspects in some ways, but AOL Explorer sucks donkey. Get rid of that and you might find you can tolerate the suckiness of the other things, but AOL Explorer does not have a tolerable level of suckiness.

Only those who like problems get AOL.And when you finally ditch it you'll have to have help to clear out all the crap from you're computer !!!

Hotmail sux!!!!
Internet Explorer sux!!!!

Get Mozilla FireFox like already mentioned.

Hotmail use to be awesome until Microsoft bought it. Lots of things use to be awesome until Microsoft bought them up.
