Hey everyone,
I finished a couple up for a customer who's son runs a outfitting service. One is for the dad and the other is for the son, and each has their brand etched on the blade.
Cpm-154 hollow ground blade
tapered tangs
Aoudad handles
416 ss on the bolsters
I didn't get measurements, but will have when they get back from the sheath maker. Let me know what you think, and thanks for looking. Ryan Minchew

I really like them, especially the handles.
Don't recall seeing much Aoudad horn being used for knife handles.

I love hunting Barbary Sheep and I have never seen there horns used for knife handles .

Great idea

Great knives

Thanks for the comments guys. One of the hunts he guides is for aoudad and he requested it. I think auodad has its own special goat stink.

Joe do you bow hunt or rifle? Either way those old auodad rams can be elusive.

Very nice, I have gotten a purple hue in polished Audad, your appears to have a little purple too. Do you see it in the hand, or is it just me?

I do both but I have only free range Auodad hunted with a rifle

Thanks Mark, you can see the purple hue in hand. Its really noticed around the spine where the outer shell was ground off. The more I polished the more it showed.

Martentrapper, I haven't used it much but I assume its going to move like the other ram horns. That said I've had great results by just soaking the slabs in mineral oil.
Thanks Hengelo!
