I was finally able to head outdoors the other weekend. It was real nice after being cooped up in my new apartment in the city.
Now regarding Santa Moose's Remora he sent out, I debated on what to do with it.... Do I keep it for myself and have two! Should I host a "I need to start more threads to get my BH# giveaway? Then it hit me.... My little lady might appreciate a little Becker. So I ordered up some purple paracord and surprised her with it one weekend. She thought it was cute to have a little Becker with a purple lanyard. It was snatched up, never to be heard form again....
Brown County state park has a bit to offer and it was a nice little drive out there.
My fiancee and I drove down more or less to look around a bit, but ended up hitting a few of the shorter trails. One of which was around a small lake. It had been cool, but it was in the 40's this day, so it was real nice to just go outside and bum around.
On the little trail, I realized that it would be a perfect time to snap a Becker picture. So I pulled out my constant companion, the mighty and much overlooked BK-13 Remora and was able to snap the perfect shot (with our little point and shoot digital).
Somewhere in between her shaking her head at me and me checking the pictures I just snapped, I heard a "Thack!" I looked up to see this....
Turns out, she was packing around a mini Becker too. We both like this "his & hers" picture. I think it needs to be printed out and used during the reception.
Oh, and thanks Santa Moose!
