Didn't really wanna cross post this w/reviews but it really may not be so much a review as commentary(?). Also I refered to it a couple weeks ago in a recent heated thread on this forum... so anyway its finally finished (although not necessarilialy complete) w/lots of pics at:

Thanks for your evaluation.

Because of your insight on the on the apogee finish I have been upgrading the look.
Here is the newest version http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=107945&a=837914&p=24136414&Sequence=0

Since your apogee Boon I have made many other upgrades. Like you said more standardization.
This is what I am working on at all the time time. I dont want to get to the point where the Apogee is a slap together knife.
I dont feel that is of value to the folks who want a custom. There would be nothing unique.
I am not a factory. There is a difference.
Time makes a difference when it comes to process as you can see with the apogee from the early models to the latest models.

The EDC Knives are the best of all Ive learned from the Krait and the apogee rolled into one.
All we can do is get better. Thats the human condiditon.

All of my knives are customer comment driven.
I listen and learn from good folks like you .
Thanks

BTW send your ols apogee if you wish and i will upgrade it to the standards that they are being built to now and refinish it.

P.S. Is that Roscos knife you have there?

Glad the evaluation was useful. The latest version of the Apogee in that pic you posted looks like you've gone back to the sleeker blade. It looks good.
That is Roscos knife I have. I really like the earlier handle and blade shape but its hard to beat the size of the large. How 'bout making a 5+" Apogee? You probably won't sell many but you might get a few bites from those of us who love mega-folders.
Also is it possible to equip a regular Apogee
w/your illusion release?

A 5 in I could do WOW thats getting big..
I have a folder called the scorpion that is 5" blade like that . Its a differnet type of design.
There is a link in this thread.

As for the illusion Nope I cant do it on the apogee. BUT I built the edc to be convertable.:]
One of the thoughts after the apogee...
