apoGEE!!!

I tried to wait until I scanned my new Apogee before posting this, but I just couldn't wait. I got a new medium lefty Apogee from Darrel just this morning. My first truly custom folder. First impressions: It's a masterpiece to behold, to say the least. I opted to exclude the crosshatching, fully beadblasted handle and clip, with a dark blue anodized hue on the handle itself. Very, very nice. Anyone who's watched Earth: Final Conflict will know what I'm talking about when I say that the lines and color of this folder have an alien influence. I'm going to post some scans later on tonight. Now, I'm going to be spoiled with dual thumb studs! Smooth opening and closing action. No lateral blade play whatsoever. The oblongish lanyard hole complements the curvy nature of the handle. I gotta get the scans in! Addendum: The edges have about the same color as the blue Zip Drive. I just realized that as I laid the knife right by the drive here at the office. Those of you who've been dreaming of an integral lock folder with ambidextrous thumb studs, flat ground blade, tip up clip carry, this is the knife for you!

A small Apogee was my first custom folder, and you're right it's a great knife! My only complaint is that now I have to get a small sheath for it...I want to carry it more often, but I don't want to mess it up
