I've seen it contradict itself on two successive searches comparing a tool steel like 3V with a stainless steel. So, it's best not to rely upon it too heavily. It's like rolling dice, you're just never sure what's going to come up.

Maybe a preponderance of similar results might be more reassuring, but I wouldn't bet the farm.

I agree...I have noticed some inconsistencies as well! It's entertaining but take the results with a grain of salt!
