^^what he said. jerry is going to have a hay day with this one is he doesn't already know. they are flat out trying to use the busse name. i think its funny though. anybody who knows what busse is knows the $50 is a bright red sign
 
The seller is outside the US apparently, so Jerry will need some really good luck getting anything done about them.

Bingo, that is the million dollar question, China does not respect US trademarks thus making an already difficult task even harder, but he can restrict sales within the US. :)

So did they intentionally use the hog tusk jimping(the pointy protrusion right above the thumb studs) so when you choke up for precision cutting one pricks themselves, gets the lead-based coating coursing though their veins and die of lead poisoning? I mean come on they could at least use some common sense.

And there are people who complain that Busse knives are soooo expensive ;)

If Jerry wanted to pursue it, he could probably keep them from importing those knives into the US. Unfortunately, it's expensive.

There is a lot of other stuff that has the Busse name. :D

It's very importanat that threads like this get viewed as much as possible, and links to it are distributed to as many other relevant places and forums as possible.
Many newbies who are far less experienced than us may be taken in and if a thread like this (perhaps a sticky) can prevent it so much the better for Jerry and the whole Busse community.
Fakes are a reality and the best way to counter them is with exposure and knowledge.
 
Hu Jintao has to create or allow 10,000,000 jobs a year just to maintain and keep the peasants from flooding the cities looking for work. Read REVOLUTION! China does not give a dang what they make as long as they are making something besides civil unrest.
