Recommendation? appendix carry holster for g23?

Appendix carry will never be comfortable. Of course some are more comfortable than others. Look for something that is minimal, smooth corners, a claw to help bring in the grip, and high enough to grab the grip without scraping your knuckles every time. Mine is pretty good but can't remember the name to save my life.
Sorry there are so many, your best bet is to check out a site like glocktalk. Plenty of holster reviews and suggestions. Some swear by $30 holsters, others won't look at one under $120.
As for belt, I would look at something that can be easily adjusted incrementally, like a core essentials.

I don't carry appendix but my holsters can be adjusted for it (large cant adjustabliity). I've been very happy with my Vedder Holsters (IMO get the Claw no matter which way you carry). I hear NSR makes good appendix holsters too. I would have tried the NSR holsters but they didn't advertise compatibility with my firearm brands/models, but I like the fact that they use two screws for their claw.

I think it’s very comfortable. I use a couple of comp tac holsters for my Glocks and have no problem.
