I'm at the Apple Store in Las Vegas. I was having some problems with the Mac Mini that I didn't know how to deal with, so I drove to Las Vegas this morning. Headed off to Dave's after this.
I was prepared to have them reformat the hard drive and install the current software version. But when I got to the Genius Counter and I told the tech guy (John) that this was VG's computer, he jumped right on the situation and is refomatting and upgrading Dave's computer at no cost - just to help get Dave back online.
Pretty cool, huh? Nice guy and he just wants to help Dave. There should be absolutely no problem seeing Dave online tonight.
