Apple!

As some of you know, I have three kids. The youngest, Luke, is 20 months. His vocabulary grows each day as does the context.

This week I bought a large yellow stockman from Morablades. I have been carrying it. This morning, while getting ready for church, I was putting the knife in my pocket. He wanted to hold it. When I gave it to him he looked at me and said, "Apple!".

I had been using it to cut his apples and he has put the two together.

Another knife nut added to the family!
 
Gotta start 'em young! So what knife have you set aside to give him as his first.
 
well, it will be in no time at all when he wants to hold it and his next word will be "Mine":) great thread I just love 'em when they're that little.

I am pretty sure he will have a stockman in his stocking as a first knife in a few years.
I have a couple of old school uncle henrys around. That was my first as a boy.

Nate and Izzy already have their knife collections started.
