What do you think about that knife?
I plan to buy a police Spyderco but i saw this one that looks cool.
What is your opinion about the applegate folders?

I have one. It sits on a shelf after failing a fairly light spine whack test. I would say that the most impressive thing about this knife is its appearance. The sheath fell apart after about a month, and after a year or so of moderate/light use, the blade has developed significant play, and the liner lock has moved all the way across the tang. Unless you are really in love with this particular knife, I think you could find better knives in the same price range.

I personally own an Applegate Folder. For cutting, I would go with the Spydeco. The serrated edges will get you far. This knife is for personal protection and light cutting will do fine. It all depends on your knife usage. The newer covert folders hold an edge better. If you want this knife,I can personally make a deal for mine or swope any knife. Mine is good shape and hasn't been used much. A new one so expensive. I hope this helps!!

Had one fail me stateside, returned it to PX for a exchange (prob just a lemon right?...Wrong).
The second failed me in Kosovo so I had to wait til my wife sent me another from home(Cold Steel Voyager). This one also has gotten a little sloppy but is still OK. For the most 99% of the time
I've given up on knives that are made broke in the middle.
About the only one I will look into is the Strider AD.
Good Luck.

You might consider the Covert model, which has better steel, is lighter and easier to carry and has a safety similar to CRKT's LAWKS (the Covert preceded any of the CRKT versions, though).

I'd still rather have a Police, although I prefer the old G-2/GIN-1 steel version over the ATS-55 version.

I agree that the Covert is probably the better choice. And it also features the secondary LAWKS safety. ATS34 steel as well. Being under 4 in. length, it as also street legal in most jurisdictions.

General and all-day use in my country house. I understand now; i'm gonna take a Spyderco. I talked about the applegate juste because it looked cool.
