There is an iPhone ap which displays a knife on the screen and then makes sound effects like Hollywood imagines a knife makes as you wave your phone around. If I want to hear the sound of a knife waving around (which isn't much), I'll draw my knife and... well... wave it around a bit.

There is also an iPhone ap that makes the sound of a switchblade... I guess that's for those who can only dream. If I want to hear the sound of a switchblade, I'll just get out a... well... a switchblade!

The BMW remote is definitely a Bond reference from Tomorrow Never Dies. But, I had assumed that the part our other friend did not "get" is why anyone would want a phone ap that makes simulated knife "sounds".

No, the phone sound is cool enough. I've got an iPhone that I put lots of stuff on. Sorry for the misunderstanding. The iBlade thing just isn't clever, or funny.
