Since we're here, it is a given that most of us have oodles of blades, and often we carry multiples.

So, I'm curious to know which one is your favorite just to handle, use, play with - and if you don't mind, maybe say the reason why..

Case in point - My EDC comprises of a Large Seb, and a Strider PT.
The Strider, seems to find it's way into my hand more so than the Seb.

The compact size, the blade choil placement just make it more appealing to me for the type of cutting I do, and it just feels good in the hand, Opened or closed.

The Seb rocks - don't get me wrong, and I use it Alot - the Strider (at least at this time) just gets more play time.

My Manix feels absolutely perfect in my hand. Almost as if it was specially made for my own hand. The good amount of heft it has also adds to its overall greatness. Its a great example of a well built knife. The Manix is my only folder that sees pocket time because it is everything I want in a folder, although when the locking UKPK comes out, that wont be the case anymore.

I absolutely LOVE my Sebbies; large and small!! very comfy for me!! I have a couple favorites; but they are all titanium framed. I like the way my RRF feels in my hand, and that G-10 insert makes it extra grippy. And the other one, is my Firetac!

Ahh yes KCollector, I gotta handle on of the RRFs and a Firetac some day. Got any pics?

A nice 4" Titanium handled Balisong from Benchmade. My favorite thus far has been the BM43 (Bowie Blade).

Bali's are definately the most fun just to play with and handle.

Great point TFin! If they were legal to carry here, I'd most certainly be rotating my BM. Those Ti Handles are soooo light  Hard to flip anything else once you've tossed those.

I love the Chinook II it has a great, comfy handle. It's my favorite to play with because the spyder hole has endless possibilities.

Thanks for all the info everyone! and K.Collector What can I say? Those are some REALLY nice blades, I've been wanting to see the size comparison between a Mnandi and the Sebs - SWEEEEEET.

You guys oughta check those out!!

In fact what's a thread about your favorite handler, with out seeing some pices of them in your Paw?

Often we wonder just how big, or how small a blade/ handle is - Here's your chance to show how your favorites really fit like a glove..

Keep em comin :)

Oh, they were supposed to be legal to carry? :(

They're illegal here in MI too, but I still have a couple I flip around while watching TV or waiting for my girlfriend to get ready (That immense amount of time has led me to be very good with airal throws. Sometimes I hope I miss and it stabs me in the foot!) :p

play with: Dalton auto, Seal right now.

best grip for working is on my puukko (Helle Nying)

CS Vaquero Grande -- the handle fits my hand perfectly, and allows for multiple grip options -- always gotta practice shifting grips (with minimal hand motion).

Brass handled "Original Balisong" FHM -- thin, lightweight, and really fast!

Didn't your mother tell you not to play with knives? :p

I got to agree with those who say butterfly knives are the most fun to play with, but it disturbs my wife to do so. So mine stays in my sock drawer for the most part. I practice with my tactical folders and I have a training dummy out in the barn. For some reason my sparing partners don't like training with real knives :D

My SERE has the most butta smooth action of all my folders. It opens & closes so smoothly that I can put it down.

Gotta be my Buck/Mayo 172. Butter smooth, hella sharp, and absolutely silent. Of course that may change in the near future. What's most often in my hands that I play with, though, is my Barry Jones Majik Mushroom. Gotta love it. Its great having a nice, solid piece of Ti to rely on.

I find that the simplest things feel the best. Don't get me wrong, I love my Spyderco Native. But it's a very specialized handle, if your hands are smaller or larger than average, the knife may not be too comfortable.

My favorite handles are the Buck 110, classic Ka-Bar and Benchmade 710. Very simple yet very comfortable.

The Scott Cook Lochsa has a great feel and is a real wonder, but for fun the Ken Onion Boa and the Speed/Safe is just pure joy.

fav carry knife right now is a spyderco Ti ATR but favorite "play" knife is my MT makora fireant D/A OTF auto, nothing beats a D/A OTF auto for "cool" factor, even non-knife/gun folks are impressed by the makora. the ATR is a lot better edc knife though, i dont know if i would carry one if it were legal, FWIW. oh some i'm sure but i dont know about edc..........
