...For suspect status...
I've finally ordered an Emerson, a waved CQC-7B. I've lurked on this forum for a while and a comander has been on my to-buy list for a long time. I first got interested in Emersons because the knife I carried everywhere before I saw the light of knife-knut-dom was a CQC7B knockoff. I was young, foolish and didn't know any better, But I loved the simplicity and effectiveness of the design. I've wanted an emerson for about a year now, since I became a knife knut, but I've been put off by all the BS that goes around this forum about emerson's QC, and it took me a while to overcome the anti-linner lock prejudice too. What finally made me take the plunge is a mini CQC-7B I saw in a local B&M store. Fit and finish was great and the design was perfect, I just needed a little more size. So basically I've wanted one for a year and needed to acctualy hold one to overcome my denial
. So Have I repented enough from my sins of the past to be accepted into the fold???
